WAAA ECBO Cohort
Empowering Community Architects:
We Are All America proudly supports the leaders of Ethnic Community Based Organizations (ECBOs) by providing the tools and resources needed to transform unique perspectives into systemic impact. This cohort program addresses the specific challenges faced by emerging leaders through strategic advocacy and capacity development, empowering participants to lead as the founders of our shared future. Each year, we select a cohort of 20 ECBOs from 20 different states to ensure a broad, national exchange of expertise and vision. If you are ready to grow your leadership and build lasting relationships with a national network of peers, this program is for you.
Program Objectives:
- Capacity and Sustainability: Build durable grassroots infrastructure to ensure your organization thrives for generations.
- Networking and Collaboration: Connect with a cohort of leaders committed to mutual aid and shared success.
- Visibility and Recognition: Amplify your organization’s voice as a vital contributor to the American story.
- Advocacy and Organizing: Master the tools of grassroots mobilization to drive meaningful policy change.
Program Elements:
Participants engage in a six-month virtual journey, attending four bi-monthly, 3-hour workshops. To honor the collective commitment of the cohort, full attendance is required.
Program Benefits:
- Stipend: Receive a $1,000 stipend upon full completion as an investment in your time and your community’s vision.
- Coaching and Support: Access one-on-one leadership coaching and technical assistance tailored to your goals.
- Strategic Training: Gain expertise in fundraising, legislative advocacy, and narrative strategy, such as Op-Ed writing.
- Resource Hub: Access specialized workshops, a national mentorship program, and peer learning circles designed for “Legacy Builders”.
